We would like to introduce the new Safety Gear Replacement Kit for existing lift frames.

This Kit is a quick and easy assembly solution to replace safety gears on existing lift car frames - suitable for any type of lift frame and for guides from 8 mm to 16 mm.

The Kit is pre-assembled in factory and includes the following:

• Pair of Fixing Supports and Plates to attach the Driving Set.
• Aluminium Guide Shoe Supports and Guide Shoes for Guides from 8mm to 16mm.
• Guide Shoe Support assembling hardware.
• Pair of Safety Gears Model M-245 or M-247.
• Driving Set and Driving Set Synchronisation Bar.

The Safety Gear Kit may be included in the Global UCM (+A3) solution in compliance with the following paragraphs of the EN 81-20:2014 and EN 81-50:2014 standards:

• Paragraph 5.6.7: Protection against Unintended Car Movement. Standard EN 81-20:2014.
• Paragraph 5.8: Type Examination for the Means of protection against Unintended Car Movement. Standard: EN 81-50:2014.

Gervall’s Global Solution in compliance with these standards includes:

• Speed Governor with and integrated UCM (Unintended Car Movement) detection system.
• Control and Rescue Module for Governor with UCM.
• Safety Gears and Driving Set Assembly.

All supplied under one single TÜV Rheinland Certificate, which guarantees full compliance with the above standards.
