The GV200 overspeed governor is designed to allow interlocking both when ascending and descending the elevator car.
This overspeed governor can be installed in the machine room or in the elevator shaft.
The types of safety gear on which the overspeed governor acts would be the following:
• Instantaneous safety gear not equipped with rollers.
• Instantaneous safety gear with rollers.
• Instantaneous safety gear with damped effect.
• Progressive safety gears.
